    I purchased a four-month supply of these, and I'm happy with them! They have a good texture, and I appreciate the packaging. The only thing I would improve on is the taste, as the baking soda taste is definitely something that was a bit jarring at first. Overall, I'd recommend!

    Love unpaste

    I've been using unpaste for a few years and I love it! Pleasant taste, cleans well, compostable packaging, and contains fluoride. ECOccasion has it available for a really great price and it's the first retailer I've seen that offers the larger 4 month supply!

    Thanks so much, Hanna! I was pumped when I found I could purchase the larger refills. Then, the Unpaste tablet making machine broke and I think I am the only one who has them available. I just checked and I can't buy more at the moment.

    I was glad to receive your email that stated they arrived, albeit later than you expected. Most packages are insured, but the first step would be to contact your local post office, as I indicated in my response to your email.

    weird taste and texture

    I'm a big fan of toothpaste tablets in theory. I've had pleasant experiences with Huppy and Canary, but I wanted one that had the least amount of additives and also had fluoride. Packaging also matters to me (e.g. compostable bag). But these have such a weird mouthfeel and the taste isn't very pleasant.

    I apprecieate you taking time to review the Unpaste. They are a very popular brand, but I think the Huppy tastes 'smoother.' I just ordered Wintergreen Canary based on your feedback. What is your favorite Canary flavor? Thanks! ~Kristen

    Great toothpaste!

    It took me a few days to get the hang of this, but I love it.
    It doesn’t taste as strong —nor as chemical-y— as commercial brands, but it leaves my teeth feeling nice and clean.
    Besides getting used to the flavor, you’ll learn to chew it with your front teeth— chewing with molars makes the tablet lodge it the teeth’s indentations.
    I will definitely use this instead of nast chemicals in plastic tubes going forward!!!

    Great tip, P.B.! As someone who was not accustomed to baking soda toothpaste, it was jarring for me the first time. But, I quickly got used to it and I think the Unpaste gives a better polish than some of the other brands. Some people even thinks it's a whitener, but it isn't.
