Healing Coconut

Coconut is a very popular natural skin care ingredient. It is known to reduce inflammation, keep skin moisturized and help heal minor wounds. The medium-chain fatty acids found in coconut oil also possess antimicrobial properties that can help treat acne and protect the skin from harmful bacteria.

Coconut-based surfactants in our shampoo bars are derived from these fatty acids of coconuts and are eco-certified to guarantee the best quality. Using plant-based surfactants help you keep your hair's  natural oils, unlike drying and damaging sulfates. Switching from shampoo with sulfates to coconut based surfactants such as Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate have been observed to improve dry and flaky scalp and provide a nice bubbly lather.

The fibers from the outside of the coconut are also incredibly environmentally-friendly. They are biodegradable, meaning it won’t pollute the environment like synthetic fibers. Coir cleaning tools cut through grease, are safe for non-stick pans, are non-scratch!
