Not "silky soft on your skin."

I was hopeful this product would fit the bill for gently removing eye makeup and mascara. I was quite disappointed. Unfortunately the fabric is quite course even when using the lightest touch. The manufacturer states the pads become softer with repeated washing, but I'm not willing to wait that long. I'd rather use a clean washcloth to meet the goals of gentle eye care and using eco friendly materials.
