The new formula works great even in hard water!

This zero waste dish soap is a biodegradable cleaning powerhouse that makes a rich, sudsy lather. It cuts stubborn grime and grease better than puny liquid dish soap, without drying out your hands. Doing the dishes is not anyone's favorite task, but isn't it fun to take something kinda boring and put a new twist on it?

You can even use zero waste dish soap for cleaning-duty all over your home. It takes stains out of laundry, labels off of jars and spot cleans your carpet! Use it to wipe down your counters... it's a truly multipurpose product.

Each 5.9 oz bar of dish soap will last a LONG time. Time estimates vary based on household size and number soul crushing, dirty dishes you wash.

How to use: Scrape dishes to remove excess grease and food. Wet sponge, for plates, bowls and cups, and rub dish soap block to create suds. (Repeat as needed to refresh suds.) Wash items and rinse well. Works in warm or cold water. I prefer warm water for best results. For pots and pans, use a scrubber or scourer.

Pro kitchen tip: Use the same dish washing block® suds to clean your sink when it gets dirty, this can be used on porcelain, stainless, stone and glass sinks safely. Some people use it to clean dirty & stained oven top surfaces as well.

Still not convinced to use a dish washing bar?

Liquid dish soap is made up mostly of water. It works well, but it is heavy. Because it’s heavy it takes more energy to ship which emits more carbon. And, like most plastic, the bottles are usually not recycled. It really adds up with you consider just about everyone in America is using these and throwing them out. Some may be recycled but we are learning more and more that recycling is terribly ineffective and a lot of our US waste is shipped off to poorer countries where is is burned or disposed of improperly, affecting the health and well being of the planet.

And, the chemical ingredients in liquid dish soap are also not good for our waterways. Sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) and hidden chemicals disguised as “fragrance” or “surfactant” are suspect. This zero waste dishwashing block is made of all natural, non toxic ingredients.

Please note: using a strong scourer or scrubber exclusively on the block will wear it down faster than using a soft sponge or cloth.

(Due to the handmade and hand cut nature of this product, there will be imperfections, chips, fissures and roughness on the edges of the bar and rough variations on the surface, this is normal.)

Vegan Ingredients:

Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate (plant derived), Decyl Glucoside (plant derived), Sodium Cocoate (plant derived), Quillaja Saponaria (from the South American soap bark tree - organic), Glycerin (plant derived), Aloe Vera Leaf (organic), Purified Water, Sodium Carbonate (mineral derived),

Very good

I have been using the dish bar soap for 18days now. Were a family of 3 and have about 1/4 of bar left.
We have super hard water (we do have a water softener in use), and I notice it takes extra water to get soap residue off otherwise it leaves an opaque like film behind. It does dry my skin.
I do love the zero plastic, vegan & USA made.
This is the first bar dish soap I've ever tried; I plan to try another brand or two to compare it to this one... but I would buy this one again too.
